Renaissance Alliance Completes Acquisitions of Agency Network Exchange and United Valley Insurance Services

Jan. 4, 2022 (SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass.) – Renaissance Alliance, the Agency Growth Engine, has acquired Agency Network Exchange (ANE) and United Valley Insurance Services in separate transactions, adding both organizations to its premier network of independent insurance agencies.

The two acquired networks collectively represent $2.4bn in premium and are key additions in Renaissance Alliance’s national growth strategy.

With these deals completed, both ANE’s 60 member agencies and United Valley’s 92 member agencies become part of Renaissance’s nationwide alliance of members – which now includes 273 independent agencies representing $3.6bn in premium. ANE and United Valley will continue to operate under their current brands and with their current leadership in place.

Renaissance currently represents independent agencies in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. These new transactions add agency strength in Arizona, California, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania to its expanding footprint.

December 10, 2020 - We are pleased to announce and welcome Foa & Son as our first premier agent in New York. Established in 1861, with four locations and 85 employees, Justin Foa, President and CEO, is the fifth generation of Foa's to lead the agency. The first agency in a new state sets the bar for those who follow. Justin will be instrumental in assisting ANE with identifying the highest quality of agencies to consider.

 

December 18, 2020 - We are pleased to announce and welcome Kling Bros. Insurance as our 17th agent in Pennsylvania! Established in 1933, the agency's 16 employees are located in their York office, an 1870 Victorian mansion directly across the street from City Hall (pictured left) and their Lancaster office. Principals and owners Gregg and Karl Fetterman lead York's largest and oldest family-run firm. We are proud to have an agency rich in the community's history and dedicated to its future success.

ANE hires Frank Vetrano as Director of Membership for expansion into New York.

Frank Vetrano joins ANE as Director of Membership with a specific focus on expanding the company's footprint in New York. ANE has entered into New York as a 2020 initiative and is looking forward to working with independent agents and carriers in the state.

Frank brings 43 years of industry experience, previously with the Hanover Group as Commercial Lines Regional Vice President for New Jersey and downstate New York. In this position, he was responsible for commercial lines underwriting, marketing, strategic development, and financial results. His career path also included Fireman's Fund, USF&G, and St. Paul Insurance.

Frank has a keen understanding of the New York insurance environment and is well known and respected by agencies and carriers. ANE is looking forward to his help with our expansion into New York.
