Agency Network Exchange (ANE), Expands into Mid-Atlantic Region

Formerly Consolidated Insurance Agents, ANE Unveils New Brand and Logo, Exclusive Member Programs and an Online Portal

Monmouth Junction, N.J. (April 10, 2014) – ANE, Agency Network Exchange, today announced that it is adding resources and staff to expand it’s network of more than 40 independent insurance agents into Pennsylvania and other mid-Atlantic states. Formerly Consolidated Insurance Agents, ANE also unveiled its new brand and logo, several new exclusive member programs and an online portal for efficient access to these programs.

“ANE is building on our mission to help member agents by expanding into new regions, starting with Pennsylvania, and adding exclusive programs and services that help members attract more clients and grow their agencies with truly organic new business,” said John K. Tiene, chief executive officer, ANE. “Our new name ANE signifies our continued growth and development as the most flexible and innovative model for the next evolution of the independent agency distribution system.”

ANE has grown from just seven members in 2009 to a network of more than 40 independent insurance agencies with over $350 million in controlled premiums. It’s members benefit from direct access to markets that help them increase new business and retention, and premium pooling that improves agency profit sharing revenue. In the last three years, ANE has helped its members write more than $25 million in organic new business and will pay more than a million dollars in profit sharing to members this year.

Exclusive Member Programs

ANE is also announcing three exclusive new programs for its members.

Balance Point Payroll Provider Agreement

ANE has partnered with Balance Point Payroll to provide payroll services to ANE member agents, enabling agents to offer “pay-as-you-go” payment options for their worker’s compensation clients. The partnership protects agents by preventing payroll providers from selling insurance to their clients. Clients benefit from improved cash flow and greater protection from worker’s compensation premium audits.

NJ Artisan Contractor’s Worker Compensation Program

ANE is announcing a new worker’s compensation program for residential and light commercial construction operations in New Jersey. The program is underwritten by Stonewood National Insurance Company, which specializes in worker’s compensation coverage and is rated A (Excellent) by A.M. Best.

Commercial General Liability Excess & Surplus Lines Insurance Program

ANE has partnered with AmTrust to provide members with an exclusive Commercial General Liability Excess & Surplus Lines Insurance Program. The program targets Property/Managers/Lessor’s Risk only (Commercial Property), Hospitality, Wholesale/Retail and Manufacturing and Processing/Importers type accounts. AmTrust is rated A (Excellent) by A.M. Best.

Online Portal

ANE’s new online portal allows agents to submit and track applicants electronically for all ANE products. Traditionally, applications had to be scanned and submitted via email. The ANE portal is faster and more efficient, speeding the application process for ANE custom products, such as E&S General Liability and Worker’s Compensation for Artisan Contractors.
