ANE CEO John K. Tiene Speaks on Panel at IIABNJ Annual Conference

October 8, 2014

On Monday, October 6th, ANE CEO John K. Tiene discussed the future of the insurance network and how they will effect independent agencies everywhere.

The panel, Surviving the Changing Climate Facing the Independent Agency System, included representatives from several New Jersey-based agency groups and networks, an independent agent unaffiliated with any network, carrier representatives and the incoming IIABA chairman.

Key elements for choosing what network/cluster/aggregator works best for your independent agency were discussed, as well as many of the challenges agencies of all sizes will face within the ever-changing industry.

“This isn’t a fad! The challenges that agents face aren’t going to magically disappear. By joining a network, agents will benefit from the scale and various services offered,” said CEO John Tiene.
